Santa Barbara Museum of Art: Ridley-Tree

These images document a site-specific installation that explored the idea of simulation and our perception of the real world through and from our experience with the photographic image.

I covered the existing windows with transparent photographic paper printed with layered infrared shots of the exterior seen through the window frame.  The fireplace consisted of flickering flame images projected on top of existing fake ceramic logs.
